Trouble Shooting in AutoCAD

Once you are satisfied with the look of the rectification and you close ASRix to return to AutoCAD one of two things will happen:
  1. The image will appear on the correct plane with the measured points accurately
  2. aligned with their corresponding AutoCAD entities
  3. It won't
One error you might encounter is the image being inserted on the wrong plane.
This happens when the coordinate system in which you took your measurements for rectification is not the same as that of your drawing. Make sure your drawing is in the World Coordinate System when you insert an image but, if that doesn't work you can force things by using AutoCAD to select the points. The ASRp command is the easiest way to do this once the points have been placed on the image.
