The CartHtml Interface
In this form you tell ASCix where to find the files it needs to integrate successfully
with the CartHtml web page generator.
Browse for and select the directory where your CARTHTML.EXE is installed.
- Config File
Select the .CH1 file you want to interact with your catalogue.
It must be in the same directory as the
- Index File
This will be read from the Config File you select, as will the Title, Source, HTML
and Caption File fields of the form.
CartHtml , each time it runs, will keep these fields coordinated with your
catalogue as it develops.
This is where the web pages generated by CartHtml will be placed
The Source directory for CartHtml must be the same as the Catalogue Directory in
the ASCix Parameters Section
- Caption Extension
This field must show the same extension as in the Shadow Extension in
the ASCix Parameters Section if captions are to be created in CartHtml.

- Caption Fields
To define the caption for CartHtml click the
button and you will be presented with the following dialogue box.
Move the fields, in the order you want them to appear, to the right hand column.
The contents of the selected fields will form the captions under the images and the
links to multi-media files in the web pages generated by
The fields can be moved either double clicking or by highlighting them then selecting the
appropriate arrow key.
As well there are 4 buttons specific to the CartHTML program in the upper right corner of this
form. They are:
